Guatemala June 2019-DAY 1!

We have hit the ground in Guatemala!

Praise the Lord for safe travels from DC to Houston and onto Guatemala city.  From the perspective of everyone staying together, in good spirits, and safe —the trip went great!

We did get to experience some missionary adventures along the way... As we checked in, we were informed that the tickets we had bought didnt allow carry ons - so rather than checking 6 bags as planned—we had to check 12 bags!  

Then upon arrival to Guatemala City , we found out that only 11 of our 12 bags made it out from Houston. The airline will have to deliver the last bag once it makes it to Guatemala 

After we got the bags sorted out, we were surprised by the transition home girls coming to help pick us up at the airport!

Then we met up with a number of MST "graduate" girls for dinner along with the transition home girls.  We had a good time of reconnecting, as well as taking some time to find out how they were doing after having left MST.

As I type this (Stu)—we are on our way to MST, trusting the Lord to end the day well.
